What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bartender position at Seacrest Southwest?
We are currently looking for a bartender to join our team at Greyhawk at Golf Club of the Everglades HOA. This person will be responsible for the providing drinks and food to residents and guests enjoying the restaurant bar area. This position has a base salary of $14 an hour plus gratuities.
Duties:
- Greet and interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Take customer orders and prepare a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels of bar supplies and ingredients
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations while handling food and beverages
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders
- Assist with setting up and breaking down the bar area for service
Requirements:
- Previous experience in the hospitality industry, preferably as a bartender
- Strong knowledge of different types of alcoholic beverages, brewing techniques, and mixology
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
- Familiarity with food handling procedures and safety regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of retail math for calculating drink prices, discounts, and tips
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
Please note that this position is in a restaurant setting, so experience in the food service industry is preferred.
