Registered Nurse - Emergency Department

Job Overview: The Registered Nurse (RN) provides comprehensive patient care in an emergency department setting, utilizing nursing processes, evidence-based practices, and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Assess: Evaluate patients' physical, social, and psychological status, collaborating with the healthcare team.
• Plan: Develop individualized care plans involving patients and families, including education and follow-up arrangements.
• Implement: Deliver or delegate care, coordinate with team members, and manage resources effectively.
• Evaluate: Monitor patient responses, outcomes, and satisfaction, adapting care plans as needed.
• Professionalism: Uphold legal, ethical, and regulatory standards, maintain accurate documentation, and promote nursing growth.
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• Current RN license in the practice state; BSN required within four years for less experienced RNs.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Skills in patient care, interdisciplinary teamwork, documentation, communication, critical thinking, and care coordination.
