Responsibilities Include
- Delivering direct patient care such as scaling, prophylaxis, x-rays, sealants, and fluoride treatments under dentist supervision
- Providing oral hygiene education and assessing patients' dental and medical needs
- Assisting with dental and perio charting, taking x-rays, and guiding patients through treatment processes
- Ensuring compliance with regulations and company standards
- Offering excellent customer service and creating memorable patient experiences
- Valid licensure as a Dental Hygienist in good standing
- CPR (BLS) certification from ARC or AHA with hands-on assessment
- Teamwork, respect, and cooperation
- Passion for working with children (majority of patients)
- Strong communication and patient education skills
