Role: Registered Nurse (RN) – Nurse Educator

Type: Full-Time Contract

Location: Brooklyn & Manhattan, NY

Pay: $85/hour (based on experience)

Shift: Day shifts, Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver educational programs, orientations, and competency assessments for nursing staff
  • Mentor nurses and provide ongoing clinical guidance and professional support
  • Identify training needs and collaborate with leadership to enhance clinical performance
  • Promote evidence-based practices and uphold hospital policies and accreditation standards
  • Support the development of a culture focused on quality, safety, and professional growth

Qualifications & Skills

  • Active New York State RN license
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Nursing (preferred)
  • AHA BLS certification
  • Minimum 2 years of acute or specialty nursing experience
  • Previous experience as a nurse educator, preceptor, or instructor (preferred)
