- Performing MRI procedures following department protocols and maintaining equipment quality.
- Communicating effectively with patients to obtain clinical history, explain procedures, and alleviate anxiety.
- Assisting in examinations using sterile techniques and knowledge of IVs and central lines.
- Serving as a resource to students and colleagues, and performing routine maintenance on imaging equipment.
- Adhering to safety standards and hospital policies to optimize patient care and image quality.
- Graduate of an accredited radiography, nuclear medicine, or MRI program; MRI certification from ARMIT, CAMRT, or ARRT eligible.
- Basic Life Support certification.
- Preferred prior experience in diagnostic radiology or MRI in a healthcare setting.
