Role & Responsibilities
Perform diagnostic MRI procedures, review patient history and physician's orders, educate patients, prepare and administer contrast media, monitor patient condition, select appropriate imaging parameters, position patients, analyze image quality, and ensure accurate documentation. Coordinate MRI exams to maintain workflow and assist with department management. Screen patients for MRI contraindications and identify MRI-compatible items. Ensure quality and continuity of patient care, and handle equipment setup and troubleshooting.
Qualifications & Skills
Require an Associate's Degree, ARRT certification with additional Mammography certification, and BLS certification. Must possess critical thinking, decisive judgment, and the ability to work independently in stressful environments. Strong communication and patient care skills are essential.
