Acute Care Post Op Unit Opportunity
Role: Support patient care on a 30-bed acute care post-operative unit, assisting with monitoring, assessment, and treatment of medical/surgical conditions.
Responsibilities: Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, patient- and family-centered care. Gain advanced knowledge of acute trauma, surgeries, and diagnoses. Build teamwork through shared clinical experiences.
Qualifications & Skills: Positive attitude, collaborative mindset, willingness to learn, and ability to adapt to a respectful work environment. Completion of a 12-week orientation with a trained preceptor/mentor.
Key Duties: Assist physicians and registered nurses, help manage patient ratios of 5-6 patients per nurse, and develop critical thinking skills in a fast-paced setting.
