Behavioral Health Specialist

Role: Behavioral Health Specialist responsible for providing direct patient care under supervision in a mental health or healthcare setting.

Key Duties

• Ensure quality patient care by measuring vital signs, assisting with hygiene and mobility, and supporting unit-specific duties.
• Act as a liaison between patients and nursing staff, reporting changes and sharing pertinent information.
• Document patient information accurately and promptly.
• Conduct patient rounding, safety checks, and screenings; participate in ongoing education and training.
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• High School Diploma or GED required; related bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience in a mental health or healthcare environment is preferred.
• Preferred certifications include BLS, STNA, CNA, SWA, CDCA, and others related to mental health and social services.
  
  

Additional Information: This role involves night shifts, rotating weekends and holidays, with a salary range of $18.11 to $27.17 per hour. The position emphasizes teamwork, adherence to regulations, and commitment to patient safety and well-being.
