Role Description We are looking for full-time and part-time Personal Trainer / Strength Coaches to be based in Rye, NH and Kittery, ME. The trainer will conduct Private Training and Group Personal Training sessions along other coaches. Daily responsibilities include assessing clients’ fitness levels, demonstrating and correcting exercise techniques, monitoring progress, and adjusting programs to meet evolving goals. The role also involves coaching clients on healthy lifestyle habits, providing basic nutrition guidance within scope of practice, maintaining a safe and organized training environment, and collaborating with team members to enhance client experience. The coach is expected to build strong professional relationships with clients and contribute to a positive, inclusive gym culture.
Trainers will also have the opportunity to be certified in Stretch Therapy to conduct assisted stretching sessions for additional income.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated skills in Personal Training and Fitness Instruction, including program design and client assessment.
- Experience with Circuit Training and Sports Coaching to support both general fitness and athletic performance.
- Recognized personal training certification (e.g., NASM, ACSM, NSCA, ACE) or equivalent; CPR/AED certification preferred.
- Strong communication, motivation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to coach clients of diverse backgrounds and fitness levels.
- Ability to work on-site in Rye, NH and/or Kittery, ME including early morning, afternoon, or Saturday hours as needed.
- Experience in strength and conditioning, athletic or rehab training environments, or small studio settings is beneficial.
Compensation:
$22.50-$27.50 per hour
