Seacoast Classical Academy is seeking dependable, enthusiastic, and caring Substitute Teachers to join our team. Substitute teachers play an important role in maintaining a consistent, positive learning environment for our scholars when classroom teachers are absent.

Responsibilities
- Follow lesson plans and classroom routines provided by the classroom teacher.
- Maintain a safe, structured, and positive learning environment.
- Provide clear directions and support scholars in completing assigned work.
- Uphold school expectations for scholar behavior and classroom management.
- Supervise scholars during classroom activities, transitions, lunch, recess, and other assigned duties.
- Communicate any important classroom or scholar concerns to the appropriate staff member.
- Support the mission, values, and culture of Seacoast Classical Academy.
- Maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting preferred.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
- Dependable, flexible, and able to adapt to different classroom environments.
- Patient, positive, and professional demeanor.
- Ability to follow established school policies and procedures.
- Must be willing to complete all required background checks and school-required employment screenings.
Pay: $130.00 - $140.00 per day
