Role Overview
The Seacoast Chevrolet Service Business Development Manager drives revenue growth, customer retention, and operational excellence within the dealership’s service department. This role strengthens the dealership’s position as the trusted local destination for Chevrolet maintenance and repair, leveraging OEM programs, warranty opportunities, and brand‑specific service strategies to expand market share and elevate the customer experience. We are a family-owned business in New Jersey for almost 70 years.
The mission of this position is to contribute to the success of our service group by providing high-level phone skills to engage customers and create selling opportunities for the Service departments.

Required Qualifications
- Fields inbound and make outbound phone calls on a daily basis for the purpose of promoting our service, promotions, and products to gain new growth for the Service Business.
- Generates service appointments
- Efficiently record all customer interaction activity in the Company’s customer database system; enter notes in a timely basis and writes in a professional, clear, grammatically correct manner with complete details listed.
- Experience Desired: A minimum of 1 year in position of customer service representative or similar positions in a call center environment.
- Required: Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills; desired retail related experience.
- Required: Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in automotive service, fixed operations, or dealership business development (Chevrolet/GM experience strongly preferred).
- Strong understanding of GM warranty processes, recall workflows, and Certified Service standards.
- Proficiency with dealership systems (Dealertrack DMS, Drive Centric CRM, GM Global Connect, Service Workbench).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Chevrolet Service Growth Strategy — Build and execute growth plans aligned with Chevrolet service standards, focusing on increasing RO count, upsell conversion, and retention across maintenance, repair, and warranty work.
- OEM Program Optimization — Maximize participation in Chevrolet programs such as MyChevrolet Rewards, Certified Service promotions, warranty processing, and recall campaigns to drive traffic and profitability.
- Customer Retention & Loyalty — Implement follow‑up systems, service reminders, and personalized outreach that keep Chevy owners returning for scheduled maintenance and repairs.
- Service Marketing & Promotions — Partner with staff digital marketing manager to promote Certified Service offers, seasonal maintenance campaigns, and Chevy‑specific digital outreach.
- Customer Experience Excellence — Ensure a consistent, high‑quality experience from check‑in to vehicle delivery, reinforcing the Chevrolet Certified Service brand promise.
- Competitive Market Analysis — Monitor local independents and competing OEM service departments to maintain competitive pricing, offerings, and turnaround times.
