What you'll do as a Personal Banker:
- Build Relationships: Connect with customers on a personal level, understanding their unique needs and aspirations.
- Provide Expert Advice: Offer tailored financial solutions, from checking accounts to loans, to help customers achieve their dreams.
- Drive Growth: Actively promote our products and services, contributing to the overall success of our branch.
- Embrace Innovation: Stay up to date with the latest banking technologies and trends to deliver seamless customer experiences.
Minimum:
- High school diploma or equivalent required, one year in a customer service/retail environment and one to two years as a Teller.
- Must be able to complete ICBA’s Universal Banker Certificate Program within first year of hire. Must be detail oriented, have good general math skills, letter composition and typing skills.
- Must be proficient in using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and skilled in using a 10-key calculator.
- Must be able to withstand varying degrees of stress and must be able to attend work regularly and on time and perform position requirements with little supervision.
- Must have the ability to meet and greet internal and external customers in a professional, positive manner, ability to communicate effectively, ability to be flexible by being able to adjust adeptly to changing priorities, ability to function as a member of a team including participating in branch activities and displaying positive behavior.
- Previous two years of experience as a Customer Service Representative and two years of experience as a Teller or in a combined role in a banking or related environment.
- Completed Universal Banker Certificate Program and CFT courses in consumer and mortgage lending or other accredited programs
