What are the responsibilities and job description for the Experienced Marine Systems Technician position at Seabrook Harbor and Marine?
We’re looking for an experienced Marine Systems Technician to join our team.
This position is for someone who can diagnose, repair, and install complex boat systems and work independently.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair marine electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems
- Troubleshoot 12V/24V electrical systems
- Install and service marine electronics, battery systems, chargers, and inverters
- Service fuel, freshwater, sanitation systems, and pumps
- Work on diesel engines, generators, and auxiliary systems
- Perform system upgrades, refits, and preventative maintenance
Qualifications:
- 3–5 years marine technician experience preferred
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Experience with diesel engines and marine electrical systems and HVAC
- Ability to work independently and manage service jobs
- Valid driver’s license
Preferred:
- Experience with Garmin, Raymarine, or Simrad electronics
- Experience with battery charging systems
