Summary:
Under the direction of the General Manager, the Lifestyle Coordinator plans and implements recreational activities, which include but are not limited to special events, adult education, and the scheduling of clubhouse facilities for recreational use. The Lifestyle Coordinator will have significant contact with residents and vendors associated with Clubhouse Activities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Event Planning & Support
- Assist in planning and coordinating community events, activities, and programs.
- Support with setup, breakdown, and basic logistics for events.
- Help source and schedule vendors or instructors as needed.
- Maintain an updated monthly event calendar.
Resident Engagement
- Serve as a friendly point of contact for resident questions related to lifestyle events.
- Communicate upcoming activities through email, flyers, and community platforms.
- Encourage participation and gather resident feedback to improve programming.
Amenity & Facility Coordination
- Assist with scheduling and preparing community amenities for events or resident use.
- Ensure activity rooms, clubhouse spaces, and event areas are clean, organized, and ready.
- Report maintenance or facility issues to management promptly.
Administrative Support
- Help maintain attendance lists, event records, and simple budget tracking.
- Support with posting announcements, updating bulletin boards, and light clerical tasks.
- Assist the Lifestyle Manager or General Manager as needed.
Compliance & Safety
- Ensure activities follow HOA policies and community rules.
- Support in monitoring safety and emergency procedures during events.
Team Collaboration
- Coordinate with maintenance, security, and management teams to support event execution.
- Provide lifestyle updates for meetings when requested.
Requirements
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
Minimum 1 year related experience, preferably in HOA environment.
Customer service and strong communication skills.
Basic event planning, scheduling, and administrative abilities.
Organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
Familiarity with office software and community platforms.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Education & Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.
Experience in event coordination, hospitality, recreation, or community programs preferred.
HOA or lifestyle programming experience is a plus.
Language Skills:
The individual must have strong written communication skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with employees and clients at all levels of the organization, both verbally and in writing.
Availability:
Regular business hours and overtime as needed
Working Environment:
The Lifestyle Coordinator works in a well-lighted, clean environment. S/he constantly interacts with other people, and may have to handle several responsibilities at once.
