Commercial Roofing & Siding Estimator
Seaboard Construction is seeking an experienced Commercial Roofing & Siding Estimator to join our rapidly growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional to lead our commercial estimating division and play a key role in the continued growth and success of our company.
This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary along with a performance-based bonus structure that rewards results and profitability.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage Seaboard Construction's commercial estimating division.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between General Contractors and Seaboard Construction throughout the bidding process.
- Review construction drawings, specifications, and project documents to prepare accurate, competitive, and profitable estimates.
- Ensure all bids, takeoffs, and project pricing are complete and accurate.
- Prepare, organize, and manage all project submittal packages and required documentation.
- Develop detailed work packages that clearly communicate project scope, specifications, schedules, and critical details to field personnel and project superintendents.
- Coordinate with project management and operations to ensure a smooth transition from estimating to project execution.
- Maintain strong relationships with general contractors, suppliers, and subcontractors.
Qualifications:
- Experience estimating commercial roofing and/or siding projects.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction documents.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency with estimating software(Planswift) and Microsoft Excel is preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and commitment to accuracy.
