Distribution & Packaging Team Members

SeaBear Company is seeking motivated, dependable individuals to join our Distribution and Packaging Team! This hands-on position supports daily operations in both our Distribution Center and Packaging Department, with flexibility to work between departments as business needs require.

Key Responsibilities

• Pick, pack, and ship perishable and non-perishable orders for wholesale and direct-to-consumer customers.
• Assemble boxes and other packaging materials.
• Create gift baskets and prepare gift packaging.
• Complete paperwork to ensure accurate product tracking.
• Label packages and coordinate deliveries to external carriers as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized warehouse while following food safety protocols, industry regulations, and workplace safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to read and write in English.
• Basic computer skills.
• Dependable, flexible, and willing to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions

• Stand for up to two hours at a time, for shifts of up to 10 hours.
• Lift and move boxes weighing up to 50 pounds with assistance.
• Use both hands for inspecting, packing, taping, and handling products.
• Perform physical tasks involving pushing, pulling, twisting, bending, reaching, and grasping.
• Follow company policies regarding jewelry, including no jewelry worn on the ears, face, or hands.

Schedule & Compensation

• Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 6:00 am – 4:30 pm (four 10-hour shifts), with occasional Fridays and weekends as needed.
• Starting Pay: $18–$19 per hour.
• Location: SeaBear Company production facility in Anacortes, WA.
• Reports To: Distribution and Packaging Manager.
