Position Title: Boiler Operator
Department: Maintenance
Reports to :Maintenance Manager
Level: Skilled/License
Summary: Under general supervision, performs a variety of duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Boiler Operation
- All Boiler Maintenance
- During down time: maintenance on facility and production equipment
- Must be able and willing to work overtime and weekends
- Occasionally work 12 hour shifts for vacation/illness coverage
- Provide own tools (basic hand tools)
Education and/ or Training Experience:
- Experienced skill set (refer to required skill section below)
- High School or equivalent training and/or work experience preferred
- 2nd Class Fireman’s License or above required
Requirements/ Skills
- Ability to stand for hours at length
- Basic oral and written communication skills
- Detail oriented
- Basic math and reading skills
- Ability to follow procedures
Physical Demands:
- Lifting or carrying, Pushing or Pulling, Reach, up to 100% of work shift
- Walking, bending, pushing, reaching and lifting up to 30 lbs (additional weight may be required with assistance)
- Standing, Walking or moving about, up to 100% of work shift
- Temperature extremes, primarily hot.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
