Lauderdale Towing & Salvage (commonly known as Sea Tow Fort Lauderdale) is looking to grow its dedicated team of emergency first response captains and radio dispatchers.

As a Marine Radio Dispatcher /Customer Service Specialist you will be the first point of contact for members at our Fort Lauderdale, Florida location. As part of this position, you will be responsible for the following:
- Dispatching water and ground units in response to boater emergencies.
- Communicating with members and other emergency first response providers via VHF radio / telephone.
- Selling, renewing, and upgrading towing services and memberships to boaters in Broward County.
- Providing customer service to current and prospective Sea Tow members.
Given the nature of the services provided, we expect our team members to exhibit the highest degree of professionalism. The candidate must exhibit proficiency in the following skills:
- Prior radio dispatch or call center experience
- Familiar with GPS coordinates (latitude & longitude)
- Prior experience with VHF radio communications
- Prior customer service experience
- Local boating knowledge and experience
- Superior verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and perform multiple tasks at the same time (i.e., listening to radio and type)
- Beginner proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
- Fast and accurate data entry capabilities
- Bilingual speakers (Spanish and English) are a plus.
