Sea Tow Delmarva is seeking (full time/part time) captain
Sea Tow, has been the innovative and premier leader of on-water assistance since 1983.
Help is at the core of who we are and what we do. If you are customer service oriented and love spending time on the water – a Sea Tow Delmarva Captain position is ideal for you.
Captains that seek this position must possess the following:
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and submit to the enrollment in a random drug testing program.
- Must possess a valid USCG Captain’s license with Assistance Towing endorsement unless exempt by tonnage.
- Must have advanced boat handling skills in close quarters.
- Must have professional appearance and be able to make sound decisions under pressure.
- Must be able to commit to working nights, weekends, and holiday hours.
- Must obtain a OSHA 24 hour Hazwoper Certification
- Must be able to serve on a Sea Tow boat for up to 12 hours within a 24-hour period.
- Must be comfortable with being exposed to weather elements and occasional rough seas.
- Must be comfortable with marketing and sales efforts during the provision of on-water assistance.
- Possess Dive certifications is preferred.
- Prior law-enforcement a plus
- Prior Coast Guard a plus
- Prior professional captain experience a plus
- Sales and marketing experience a plus
