Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Bartender to join our dynamic team. This role involves preparing and serving beverages, engaging with customers, and ensuring an exceptional experience in a fast-paced environment. Experience in fine dining, nightclubs, or banquet settings is highly valued, along with familiarity with POS systems such as Toast, Aloha, and Micros. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong time management, food safety awareness, and effective cash handling abilities.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently using POS systems like Aloha and Micros.
- Engage with guests to provide exceptional customer service, ensuring their needs are met promptly and professionally.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards.
- Manage cash transactions accurately, including handling tips, cashing out at the end of shifts, and balancing registers.
- Restock bar supplies as needed and monitor inventory levels to prevent shortages.
- Adhere to all food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service policies.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and management to coordinate service during busy periods such as nightclubs or banquet events.
- Assist in catering events or special functions as required, providing high-quality beverage service in various settings.
- Create and execute cocktails that fit the brand
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality roles is preferred, especially in fine dining, nightclubs, or banquet environments.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast POS, Aloha POS, or Micros POS is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability in serving alcohol responsibly while maintaining excellent customer service skills.
- TIPS training preferred
- Strong knowledge of food safety procedures and proper food handling techniques.
- Experience with retail math, basic math skills for cash handling, and cashiering responsibilities are advantageous.
- Prior work in the food industry or beverage service roles that require multitasking and time management skills will be considered a plus.
