Position Overview:
Ocean Lounge at The Sea Pines Resort is seeking a passionate, experienced, and service-driven Mixologist to craft elevated cocktail experiences for our guests. Located oceanfront on Hilton Head Island, Ocean Lounge blends luxury, sophistication, and coastal charm—and we’re looking for a team member who brings the same energy to every pour.

The ideal candidate is highly knowledgeable in classic and contemporary cocktails, spirits, and mixology trends, and thrives in a refined, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Curate, prepare, and serve a wide range of premium cocktails, wine, and beverages to guests.

• Provide warm, knowledgeable, and personalized service, enhancing the guest experience.

• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and ambiance of the bar area in alignment with resort standards.

• Educate guests on drink selections and recommend pairings or new offerings.

• Uphold all safety and sanitation standards, including responsible alcohol service.

• Assist in inventory management, including ordering, restocking, and monitoring usage.

• Contribute to seasonal cocktail menu development in collaboration with the F&B team.

• Engage in ongoing training to stay current on spirits, mixology trends, and guest preferences.

• Support the team with opening, closing, and shift change procedures.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a high-end bar, lounge, or restaurant setting.

• Strong knowledge of spirits, wine, beer, and cocktail techniques.

• Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to multitask and remain composed under pressure.

• Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

• Certification in responsible alcohol service (e.g., TIPS or ServSafe) preferred.

• Passion for hospitality and delivering memorable guest experiences.
