Wage Range: $70k – $150k , including base and uncapped commissions. Compensation may vary based on production and experience. 

We are currently looking for a Commercial Lines Producer with an entrepreneurial vision to drive new business growth as we expand our commercial division. • Meet new business activity and quality appointment goals through networking, various industry events and prospecting.  
• Be willing and able to travel to visit clients throughout the year.  
• Use SMI and personal resources to research prospects and create customized messaging for prospects. 
• Think like a business owner to use an entrepreneurial mindset to build a scalable sales business plan 
• Develop solid relationships with clients, team and underwriters 
• Innovate for clients using market knowledge and advanced understanding of the industry 
• Champion SMI’s spirit and core values with every client interaction and community connection 

• 3 years of sales experience in an insurance brokerage with proven track record of sales success with an active Property & Casualty insurance license(s)
• OR
• 3 years of sales experience, preferably B-2-B sales, you must obtain WA State Property & Casualty license immediately upon hire.
• Strong knowledge of Property & Casualty insurance
• Highly motivated, goal oriented, hungry and driven to achieve individual sales goals. 
• Superior communication, negotiation, presentation, organization and listening skills 
• Strong customer focus and follow up skills 
• Growth mindset is a must.
