We are recruiting for the following position: Sea Mar is a mandatory COVID-19 and flu vaccine organization Sea Mar Community Health Centers in is seeking a full-time Pharmacist based primarily at the Seattle, WA pharmacy. The candidate must be able to work in other Sea Mar pharmacy locations as needed, including but not limited to Federal Way, White Center, Bellevue, and Lynnwood. Position may include working Saturdays in the near future. Must have an active Washington State Pharmacist License. The pharmacist's duties will include all duties in regards to patient care, including: * Demonstration of knowledge and skill necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served. * Demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span. * Ability to identify and categorize each patient's age specific grouping of needs, such as those for infant, adolescent or geriatric patients. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * The pharmacist will work in coordination with the medical providers and other appropriate staff to meet the patients' medication related needs. The pharmacist will be available for clinical consultations to providers, medical staff in-services and community lectures for patient medication education. * The pharmacist's duties will include receiving, filling, recording, and all dispensing of prescriptions written by Sea Mar Providers as well as those received from outside sources. Duties in this area will also include establishing and maintaining patient medication profiles on each patient including allergy information and medication history. These profiles will be screened for drug and/or allergy interactions. The pharmacist will also provide needed information on medication and possible side effects. * The pharmacist along with the pharmacy director will have the general responsibility for ordering and maintaining all pharmacy inventory, third party billing and daily management reports. * The pharmacist will perform other duties as assigned by the pharmacy director. CLINICAL: * The staff pharmacists duties will include all duties in regards to patient care, including: * Demonstration of knowledge and skill necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served. * Demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span. * Ability to identify and categorize each patient's age specific grouping of needs, such as those for infant, adolescent or geriatric patients. CONDITION OF EMPLOYMENT * The staff pharmacist is required to have an employment application on file with furnished references and subject to background screening. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: * Graduation from accredited College or School of Pharmacy. * The pharmacist should have a minimum of one (1) year experience in retail and/or clinical pharmacy practice. * Must have an active Washington State Pharmacist License. * Bilingual in English/Spanish is highly preferred.
