What are the responsibilities and job description for the Full Time Line Cook position at Sea Level Oyster Bar?
We are looking for a professional full time cook to prepare food to the exact chef’s specifications and to set up stations for menu. Duties will consist of assisting the executive and sous chef with their daily tasks. The successful candidate will play a key role in contributing to our customer satisfaction and acquisition goals.

Responsibilities
1. Prep Work
- Setting up and stocking their assigned station with necessary ingredients and tools.
- Chopping vegetables, portioning meats, and making sauces before service begins.
2. Service
- Cooking and firing menu items as incoming orders (tickets) are received.
- Coordinating timing with other cooks so all elements of a table's food are ready at the same time.
3. Cleanup & Inventory
- Cleaning and sanitizing cooking surfaces, equipment, and floors.
- Receiving orders, rotating inventory and restocking the station
- Checking ingredient inventory, wrapping and storing food properly, and writing a prep list for the next shift
Skills
- Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
- Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks
- Familiar with industry’s best practices
