Part-Time Manager On Duty (MOD)

Sea Dog Brewing Company is an independently owned company operating successful brewpubs in ME, NH, and FL seeking a career-driven Part-Time Manager On Duty (MOD) with a positive hospitality attitude. Weekend and Evening Availability is preferred.

As an MOD, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring excellent customer service, managing the staff, and maintaining high standards of food quality and cleanliness. Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, including opening and closing procedures
- Ensure excellent customer service by greeting and assisting guests, resolving any issues or complaints promptly
- Manage and train staff members, including scheduling shifts and assigning tasks
- Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and cleanliness
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and timely service
- Implement and enforce health and safety regulations
- Ability to act as a Bartender, Server, and/or Host to assist front of house team.
- Handle cash management duties, including cash handling, deposits, and reconciliations

Qualifications:

-Minimum of 1-2 years of full-service high-volume experience
- Previous experience in a similar role not limited to Bartending, Serving, and Hosting.
- Strong knowledge of the food industry, including food handling and safety regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a team
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Proficient in using POS systems for order processing and inventory management
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make sound decisions under pressure
