Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced, motivated and results-oriented Sales Representative to join our team in the Fernandina Beach area. This role will involve building and maintaining strong relationships with new and existing clients, promoting our range of food products, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers, including retailers, restaurants, and foodservice businesses.
- Identify and target new sales opportunities within your assigned territory.
- Promote our diverse food product range to potential clients.
- Negotiate pricing and terms with customers to close deals and meet sales targets.
- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring all orders are processed accurately and promptly.
- Preparing and presenting sales proposals and contracts
- Maintain and update customer records in various systems.
- Collaborate with the marketing, sales, and operations teams to align sales strategies and ensure timely product delivery.
- Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Proven sales experience, ideally in the food distribution or related industry.
- Strong communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build rapport and trust with customers.
- Highly motivated with a results-driven approach.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license, updated vehicle insurance and reliable transportation
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Knowledge of food products, distribution, and the food service industry
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software
