For this U.S. based position, the expected compensation range is $101,000 - $152,000 per year, which includes base pay and short-term incentive.
The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our salary ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the salary range, individual pay is determined by several factors, including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Core Responsibilities
Working closely with the investment team, the successful candidate will:
- Assist primarily on due diligence of new investment prospects, including financial modeling, customer diligence, market size analysis and other research, and preparation of investment memos
- Join pitch meetings with members of the investment team to evaluate potential investments in innovative startups and new technologies
- Use financial models and market research to assess the viability and growth potential of companies
- Understand broader industry trends, major players and disruptive technologies impacting Energy Management and Industrial Automation.
Candidate Qualifications
- 2 years of experience in investment banking/venture capital/private equity/corporate development, with meaningful live transaction experience
- Passionate about startups and new technologies
- Strong financial analysis and financial modeling skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team and think creatively and strategically
- Undergraduate degree from a top college in a relevant field such as finance, engineering, or business
- Demonstrated excellence in academics and/or extra-curricular activities
