Maintenance Tech A
Must have Knowledge of:
- Air brake and FHWA inspection certified
- Full knowledge of air brake system
- Full knowledge of suspensions
- Full knowledge of electrical system
- Full knowledge of trailer body work
- Full knowledge of landing gear assembly
- Full knowledge of door work
- Full knowledge of wheels and tires
- Full knowledge of welding and fabricating
Requirements:
- Valid CDL A plus
- High school diploma or equivalent, vocational school certification or completion of apprenticeship preferred
- Must possess own hand tools
- Safety oriented, great attention to detail
- Fabrication background
- Ability to operate various hand tools and heavy equipment
- Detail oriented, strong problem-solving skills
- Working knowledge of vehicle diagnostic systems and methods
- Excellent knowledge of mechanical, electrical and electronic vehicle and equipment components
- Good communication skills to correspond with upper management
