Civil & Utility Project Manager
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Civil & Utility Project Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be instrumental in managing and overseeing civil construction projects across Tri-County (Miami-Dade, Broward, & Palm Beach), ensuring successful project delivery, from planning through to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, manage, and oversee all aspects of civil construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders, including Miami-Dade County, Broward County, and various utility agencies.
- Develop and manage detailed project schedules using CPM methods, ensuring projects stay on track and milestones are met.
- Oversee budget creation, cost management, reporting, and ensure financial controls are adhered to throughout the project lifecycle.
- Handle claims management and change orders efficiently and effectively, ensuring proper documentation and resolution.
- Coordinate daily operations, managing subcontractors, field crews (with Superintendents assistance), and material deliveries to ensure timely project progress.
- Act as the primary point of contact for conflict resolution, addressing and resolving issues promptly to minimize project delays.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in civil construction project management.
- Proven expertise in working with local agencies, including Miami-Dade County, Broward County, and utility providers.
- Proficient in CPM scheduling, budget creation, cost tracking, and project reporting.
- Experience in claims management and change order processes, with a strong understanding of contractual obligations.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage and resolve conflicts in a timely and professional manner.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is highly encouraged but not necessary.
