Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal across multiple areas.
- Operate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, scrubbers, and vacuums with precision and care.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation in restrooms, kitchens, hallways, and common areas.
- Follow safety protocols diligently during all custodial activities to prevent accidents or injuries.
- Assist with basic facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or reporting issues requiring professional attention.
Requirements
- Proven janitorial or custodial experience with knowledge of commercial or industrial cleaning procedures.
- Familiarity with cleaning equipment including floor buffers, scrubbers, and other custodial tools.
- Physical capability for manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude toward staff and visitors.
- Knowledge of sanitation standards and safety protocol adherence in a busy environment.
- Prior experience in facilities maintenance or industrial cleaning is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate.
