Heavy Tow Truck Driver – SDR Towing (Greenville, TX)

SDR Towing, a growing towing and recovery operation serving Greenville and the North Texas region, is seeking an experienced Heavy-Duty Tow Truck Driver to join our team. We specialize in Class 6–8 commercial truck towing, accident recovery, equipment transport, and roadside services. We are committed to professionalism, safety, and top-tier customer service.
Responsibilities
- Operate heavy-duty tow trucks (rotators, heavy wreckers, and rollbacks as needed).
- Perform safe loading, towing, and recovery of commercial trucks, tractors, trailers, and heavy equipment.
- Respond to breakdowns, accident scenes, and law enforcement calls in a timely and professional manner.
- Inspect, operate, and maintain assigned truck, tools, and recovery equipment.
- Complete all job tickets, photos, and documentation accurately.
- Communicate clearly with dispatch, customers, and law enforcement personnel.
- Provide exceptional customer service, representing SDR Towing with professionalism.
Requirements
- CDL Class A required (with clean driving record).
- Prior heavy-duty towing/wrecker experience strongly preferred.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, climbing, and working outdoors in all conditions.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and situational awareness at accident scenes.
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and on-call rotations.
- Must pass drug screen and background check.
