Top Investment Fund is looking to hire a Lead Tax Analyst to the team.

You'll work closely with senior finance leadership to manage tax compliance and reporting across a range of investment entities, while helping to build out the team's internal processes and controls. Responsibilities:
- Manage tax compliance activities across a portfolio of investment entities, including coordination with external tax preparers and advisors
- Monitor and analyze tax liabilities, including excise taxes and unrelated business taxable income, providing timely projections to senior leadership
- Review tax returns and filings across relevant domestic and international jurisdictions to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Conduct tax research and support structuring decisions as needed
- Help develop and maintain a compliance calendar and internal control framework to support timely, accurate filings
- Support financial reporting and audit processes across the firm's investment entities
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure consistency and accuracy across tax and regulatory obligations
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA strongly preferred
- 5–7 years of relevant experience in tax for private investment funds, across both liquid and illiquid strategies
- Solid knowledge of tax regulations as they apply to private fund structures
- Experience working with external tax advisors and reviewing complex fund returns
- Familiarity with fair value reporting and investment fund accounting is a plus
- Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities independently
- Able to commute to the Greater Boston area on a hybrid basis
