What are the responsibilities and job description for the Finance Manager position at SDL Search Partners?
Well-established, industry-leading, global organization offering a variety of manufacturing, consulting, and scientific research services, is currently searching for a Finance Manager to lead FP&A and strategic finance for a dynamic business unit.
This Finance Manager will report to the VP, Finance and will oversee all FP&A, strategic finance, financial reporting, budgeting & forecasting and key stakeholder business partnering for a robust business unit. This a role designed for someone with a problem-solver mentality. The ideal Finance Manager is driven to improve processes and will have the autonomy to make an impact in the role.
Candidates with experience in manufacturing, environmental solutions, or tangible product industries would translate well into this role, but industry experience is not required.
A critical element of the role is around strategic business partnering and the ability to build relationships with key stakeholders globally in the organization. Ideal candidates should have the confidence to support their analysis and the ability to translate finance to non-finance division heads.

Qualifications:
- BS, Finance / Accounting or related
- 6 - 15 years of Finance / FP&A experience in a dynamic, multi-entity, global environment
- Strong core finance skills including budgeting, forecasting, analytics, modeling and financial reporting
- Experience with cost analysis is a plus
- Experience in a rotational program is a plus
- Excellent system skills and prior implementation experience preferred
- Strong business partnering abilities
- Interest in staying with and growing long term with a stable and supportive organization
- Intellectual curiosity and interest in continuing to grow professionally and gain new skills
- Problem-solver mentality
