Server Test Infrastructure Support Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Network & Server Test Infrastructure

• Design, build, and configure robust test network environments, including switches, PXE boot systems, and rack cabling.
• Deploy and maintain L1/L2 test servers to support automated and manual validation workflows.

Issue Analysis & Reporting

• Perform detailed root cause analysis for test failures and document findings with actionable recommendations.
• Escalate critical issues promptly and track resolution to ensure minimal downtime.

Equipment Procurement & Management

• Source, evaluate, and procure specialized test equipment such as HiPot testers, racks, and diagnostic tools.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and ensure calibration and compliance of all test equipment across production lines.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Partner with engineering, quality, IT, and logistics teams to optimize test operations and infrastructure readiness.
• Participate in design reviews, providing feedback on testability and system requirements.

Training & Documentation

• Deliver technical training on test setup, equipment usage, and safety protocols to technicians and team members.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive SOPs, troubleshooting guides, and best practices for test environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• 3 years of experience in server hardware testing or manufacturing test support.
• Proficiency in Linux administration, network configuration (DHCP, FTP, SSH), and scripting (Python, Bash).
• Familiarity with manufacturing test platforms (UTP) and server validation processes (AVT, Burn-In, FVT).
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset.
