Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Process Technician to join our manufacturing team.
Responsibilities
· Clean and inspect tooling to ensure they are ready for production
· Purchase supplies for Maintenance/tooling area
· Coordinate die schedules with the Production Manager
· Assist with machine repair
· Repair tooling that is damaged from production
· Service tooling that has been through extended usage
· Coordinate improvement projects with the General Manager
· Track tooling kept in house
· Clearly identifying customer tooling on die racks.
· Coordinate with the quality team to ensure tooling is maintaining quality expectations set by the customer.
· Setup CNC machines for production runs.
· Evaluate ways to improve the process for existing/new products.
· Work hand and hand with the Tooling manager for certain tasks.
Qualifications
· Ability to use manual machines such as lathes, mills, presses, and hand tooling
· Ability to use measuring instruments
· Knowledge of tool and die requirements
· Knowledge of die casting industry
· Knowledge of aluminum and zinc tooling
· Mechanically inclined
· Must be able to understand use of all machines and tools within the shop
· Forklift certified
· Ability to program CNC machinery.
Pay: From $19.15 per hour
