Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning (HVAC) Specialist

Job Responsibilities: In this position you will operate, maintain and repair hydronic heating and cooling systems including pumps, expansion tanks, air separators, air vents, steam traps and valves. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Knowledge of: • HVAC and control systems for both small and large commercial sized equipment • Hydronic systems • Computers and computer systems for managing work orders Skill & Ability to: • Keep all temperature control systems, heating, ventilation, refrigeration and air conditioning systems adjusted, calibrated and reliably operational • Diagnose problems, repair and maintain specialized HVAC equipment and systems • Install new systems and controls • Maintain records and order inventory and supplies • Communicate clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing • Work independently and part of a team Required license: Valid driver’s license is required. Refrigeration certification is required or ability to obtain certification within six (6) months of employment is required.
