Responsibilities: Northern State University invites applications for a full-time, tenure-trackfaculty position in Sport Marketing & Administration in the Department of Sports Sciences.Responsibilities include teaching face-to-face and online undergraduate and graduate courses ina learner-centered environment, undergraduate/graduate research, mentoring graduate students,scholarly activity, and service to the university and community.Qualifications: Applicants with an earned doctorate in Sport Management/Administration or arelated field are preferred. ABDs who will complete their degree before the date of appointmentwill be considered. The ideal candidate will have the versatility to teach a diverse range ofcourses, including but not limited to Financial Aspects of Sport, Sport Law & Ethics, SportMarketing, Sport Leadership, and International Sport Management. Qualified candidates shoulddemonstrate experience employing successful pedagogical strategies in the collegiate classroomsetting. Preference will be given to individuals with experience working in the sport industry andan ability to foster relationships with sport organizations
