Production Technician – Make to Order
ScyTek Laboratories, Inc is looking for a full-time Make-to-Order Production Technician in our busy chemical blending facility. We manufacture a variety of reagents for the Pathology and Histology markets, including immunohistochemistry, routine and special stains, buffers, diluents, as well as contract reagent manufacturing. Duties Include:
- Kit assembly, pick to order, vialing, labeling, etc. Training is provided for handling all chemicals used in the facility,
- Perform basic in-process quality checks (visual, weights, etc.)
- Packaging, labeling, tightening products.
- Use of several computer programs routinely (Access, Excel, Label-View, etc.).
- Following extremely detailed manufacturing records and procedures.
- Helping with other projects as needed.
- Keeping work area clean and hazard-free before and after each assignment.
- Keeping detailed written records of each item prepared for shipment.
Job Requirements Include:
- High School Diploma.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Enthusiastic, Self-Starter.
- Ability to work alone, or in groups as needed.
- Basic computer skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to take instructions and work well with others.
- Pleasant and positive demeanor.
- Able to lift a minimum of 50lbs without difficulty.
Additional Information:
- Previous experience is helpful, but not required. We will train the right person.
- Health after 60 days and Dental after 90 days, 401K begins January 1 of the year following hire (participation is not required).
- Hours are 7:00 to 4:00 with one hour for lunch, with some potential for flexible start and stop times.
- Position is Full-Time.
Compensation: $15.00 per hour.
