Role Description
We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented individual to support project managers and superintendents across both office and field environments. This hybrid role provides hands-on exposure to construction operations, site coordination, project documentation, and client interaction. You will work closely with our field leadership and office-based project teams, helping ensure project activities run smoothly, safely, and according to plan. As you gain experience, you will support increasingly complex project tasks and further develop the skills needed for future field or project management roles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent the company at project sites and in coordination meetings with general contractors, subcontractors, and clients
- Assist superintendents and project managers with scheduling, logistics, and day-to-day coordination
- Conduct field inspections and prepare quality reports, including production observations and field documentation
- Support project documentation management such as RFIs, change orders, proposals, and client communications
- Support the creation and tracking of required safety documentation and compliance records
- Provide organizational and administrative support to ensure projects stay aligned with schedules, standards, and expectations
Qualifications:
- Strong interest in construction field operations and project management
- Prior construction experience—field or office—is preferred
- Ability to read construction drawings and specifications, or strong willingness to learn
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; openness to learning construction management software
- Excellent organization, attention to detail, and time management abilities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a collaborative, team-focused approach
- Adaptable, self-motivated, and willing to work across both office and field environments
- Comfortable with regular travel and extended periods at project sites when required
Travel and Work Hour Requirements:
- Travel to project sites in Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin, and New York
- Most travel will be same-day; however, some projects will require multi-day, out-of-state assignments (up to five consecutive days per week for several weeks)
