About the Role
SculptedMD Celina Prosper is looking for an experienced, dependable, and personable Certified Medical Assistant to join our growing wellness clinic.
This is a hands-on position combining clinical patient care and office administration. We are looking for someone who is clinically confident, takes initiative, provides an excellent patient experience, and is comfortable transitioning between clinical and administrative responsibilities throughout the day.
Applicants must hold a current Medical Assistant certification (or higher clinical credential) to be considered.
Responsibilities
- Perform blood draws and prepare specimens for laboratory processing
- Administer IM and subcutaneous injections as directed by the medical provider
- Obtain and document vital signs, patient histories, and other clinical information
- Assist with patient visits, treatments, and clinical procedures
- Maintain appropriate medical supplies and inventory
- Follow proper infection-control, sanitation, and clinical safety procedures
- Schedule appointments and manage patient communications
- Check patients in and out and assist with payment collection
- Answer phones and respond to patient questions
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Assist with ordering supplies and maintaining clinic inventory
- Perform general office and administrative duties
- Maintain a clean, organized, professional, and welcoming clinic environment
- Support the clinical and leadership team with additional responsibilities as needed
Required Qualifications
- Current Medical Assistant certification or higher clinical credential
- Experience performing phlebotomy/blood draws
- Comfortable administering injections
- Strong communication and patient-service skills
- Ability to multitask and work independently
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Comfortable using computers, scheduling systems, electronic medical records, and other office technology
- Dependable, professional, and able to take initiative in a growing clinic environment
Preferred Experience
Previous experience in one or more of the following is a plus:
- Wellness or longevity medicine
- Medical spa or aesthetics
- Weight-management clinics
- Hormone replacement therapy
- Primary care or urgent care
- Other outpatient medical settings
- Small medical practices where team members share both clinical and administrative responsibilities
