We are currently looking for an experienced CNC Machinist.
(CNC Vertical/Horizontal Mill Machinist)
Position Responsibilities:
- Perform setups and specify tooling for vertical and horizontal machining centers.
- Work solely from drawings/blueprints to produce quality parts.
- Inspect machined parts using various types of mechanical inspection tools such as micrometers, dial calipers, pin gages, thread gages, Tessa height, and optical comparator.
- Responsible for accurate record keeping and timely submission of work documents to production planning.
Experience/Qualifications:
- High School or equivalent; technical/vocational school diploma highly preferred
- Minimum 3 years of experience setting up and operating vertical and horizontal machining centers
- Manual machining experience
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical documents
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Skills:
- Forklift operation
- Basic computer skills
Physical Requirements:
- This position is active and requires standing, walking , bending, stooping all day.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds on an occasional basis.
Work Hours: Monday through Friday, 6:45am to 3:15pm- Overtime as available.
