Position Summary: The primary responsibilities of the Housekeeper involve the upkeep of the community’s common areas in order to enhance and maintain its appeal.  This role is essential in maintaining a clean, welcoming, and well-kept environment for our residents and visitors. The Housekeeper will also assist the rest of the staff, as directed, in their efforts to manage the property in an efficient manner, but not limited to, the following functions:

Specific Responsibilities:

• Cleans the office, clubroom, common areas, amenity areas, and restrooms daily 
• Cleans and maintains the model(s) (if applicable) daily
• Cleans all vacant apartments as directed by the community manager
• Keeps all vacancies fresh and odorless.
• Cleans and maintains laundry facilities daily
• Trash collection and groundskeeping support as needed
• Light maintenance tasks as needed
• Performs additional duties requested by the community manager 
• Informs management of supply needs on a bimonthly basis.

Requirements

Qualifications: 

• Prior cleaning, janitorial, or porter experience preferred
• Reliable, hardworking, and able to work independently
• Ability to lift/move up to 25–50 lbs.
• Strong attention to detail
• Positive attitude and willingness to be a team player
• Knowledgeable and skilled in the safe use and maintenance of cleaning fluids and tools. Required to wear gloves as tasks dictate.
• Safety Responsibilities: Learn and comply with all company safety rules; use appropriate safety equipment at all times; immediately report any unsafe conditions to supervisors; must be familiar with all safety features or equipment, machinery or materials encompassed by job duties; and must check with supervisor if there is a question as to the safe procedure to be used for any job function.
