Position Summary
We are hiring an RF Field Engineer to perform site surveys, RF data collection, walk testing, CW testing,
drive testing, and supporting commissioning activities on nationwide in-building, outdoor, and large venue
wireless projects. This is a travel-intensive field role and the primary on-site engineering presence
for RF data acquisition on AmeriCloud projects.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct civil and RF site surveys at customer venues, including commercial buildings, hospitals,
stadiums, arenas, airports, convention centers, and similar properties.
• Perform in-building walk testing, CW (Continuous Wave) testing, and drive testing using industry standard
tools.
• Operate RF test equipment during multi-hour testing sessions and ensure the accuracy and
integrity of all data collected.
• Support DAS and RAN system commissioning, integration, and turn-up activities as assigned.
• Read and execute RF design files, including iBwave designs, RFDS documents, and Method of
Procedure (MOP) documents.
• Prepare and submit project deliverables, including survey reports, walk-test reports, drive-test
reports, photographs, and supporting documentation.
• Provide cross-functional support to the Construction, Installation, Commissioning, and
Optimization teams on an as-needed basis.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or a related
technical field, or equivalent combination of education and field-engineering experience.
• Working understanding of RF fundamentals, wireless network architecture, and wireless testing
methodologies (LTE, 5G NR).
• Strong technical communication skills in English (verbal and written).
• Valid US driver’s license in good standing.
• Authorization to work in the United States.
• OSHA 10-hour Construction certification, or willingness to complete during onboarding.

Preferred Qualifications
• Prior Walk Test or Drive Test engineering experience with a Tier-1 carrier, OEM, or telecom
services provider.
• OSHA 30-hour Construction certification.
• Vendor or OEM-specific commissioning certifications.
• Hands-on experience with DAS commissioning and integration.
• iBwave Design certification.
• Stadium, arena, or large-venue deployment experience.
Working Conditions
• Field-based role with approximately 80–90% travel; multi-day project weeks (typically Monday–
Friday) and multi-stop project assignments.
• Routine work at heights up to approximately 30 feet via ladders and scissor lifts; routine access to
rooftops, catwalks, and elevated stadium seating.
• Routine access to confined and restricted equipment spaces (IDF closets, MDF rooms, MPOE
rooms, telecom shelters).
• Walk-test sessions involve carrying a backpack-mounted test kit (scanner, router, handsets,
batteries) while operating a tablet for navigation across multi-hour sessions.
• After-hours, overnight, and weekend execution windows are routine, driven by customer-venue
access restrictions.
• Travel via rental vehicle (company-arranged).
• Project schedules typically firm the week prior to execution; engineers are expected to maintain
availability per the schedule allotted by project management.
