POSITION SUMMARY
The Financial Services Internship at SCS provides a unique opportunity for recent college graduates to engage in both client services and financial advisory aspects of our firm. This immersive experience is designed to equip interns with practical skills and insights into financial planning, client engagement, and operational efficiency. Interns will work alongside experienced professionals, gaining exposure to a range of activities that support our mission of delivering exceptional service to our clients.
Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa currently.
Pay: $25.00 per hour
Opportunity for Full-time Employment:
The internship will begin on June 23, 2026 and run for 10 weeks, with the possibility of extension.
Outstanding performers may be considered for extended contracts or full-time positions, based on business needs and mutual fit.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Assist in client service operations, including data management, scheduling, and preparation for client meetings.
- Support financial advisors in developing financial strategies, conducting market research, and preparing financial plans.
- Participate in client meetings, providing administrative support and learning from client-advisor interactions.
- Contribute to the client onboarding process and compliance documentation.
- Engage in special projects that enhance the firm’s services and client satisfaction.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of financial products, market trends, and regulatory standards.
- Work collaboratively with various teams to ensure seamless client experiences and operational efficiency.
- Other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Near completion or recently completed a bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, communications or a related field, with a strong academic record.
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly and concisely.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, with a quick adaptability to specialized software.
- Demonstrated leadership potential, critical thinking, and analytical skills.
- Exceptional organizational skills, with an ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- A proactive, eager learner with a keen interest in the financial advisement industry.
- Previous internship experience in finance or related fields is a plus.
WORK ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Work in office Tuesday – Friday from 8:00am-4:30pm
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
