POSITION SUMMARY
The Director of Wealth Management is responsible for leading SCS’s end-to-end growth strategy, primarily focused on supporting a team of advisors and their organic business development. The role will have an in-depth understanding and proven experience both leading advisors and helping them grow through organic business channels at all levels. They will be responsible for leading and coaching SCS advisors and in strategies that support growth. They will lead advisor development and help assess, develop, build and/or utilize training that will provide effective solutions to educate and enhance performance in these areas. Aligning on execution and accountability are key in this opportunity.
This role serves as the manager of the firm’s organic growth ensuring all are fully aligned, integrated, and scalable.
- Organic initiatives-referrals, COI’s, business owners, insurance, education, participants, UHNW.
· Lead, mentor, and scale a team of high-performing wealth advisors and associate planners while fostering a culture of excellence in client service.
· Strategic Growth-partner with the executive leadership team to drive client acquisition strategies, oversee capacity planning, and contribute to the firm's broader M&A and organic growth initiatives.
In addition to overseeing advisor growth, this leader will build and oversee SCS’s Practice Management Advisory Services platform, enabling advisors to grow, scale, and integrate new client relationships effectively. Implementation of best practices, portfolio alignment, client retention, and continuous improvement of the client experience is essential.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Oversee advisor AUM/NNA growth for SCS advisors and ensure a growth mindset across wealth management
- Hold SCS wealth advisors accountable to their goals and business development plans
- Provide ongoing coaching and mentoring to advisors and their client service team
- Set annual team and individual advisor sales goals and provide a pathway to help them reach their goals
- Coach advisors and work with the Director of Client Service team to build effective relationships that enable them to respond quickly to emerging client opportunities and provide for seamless execution of the company's business processes that exceed client expectations
· Position and differentiate SCS advisors through education on the firm’s commitment to represent trust and credibility through financial advice
· Represent the career development interests of SCS Wealth Management advisors
· Define long term vision for advisor development, formalized career path, and learning framework for advisor readiness
· Develop and deliver training content for advisor career development
· Develop ongoing learning strategies for all levels of an advisor’s career
· Lead opportunities to engage, collect, and respond to direct feedback to foster advisor growth and retention
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
· Strong understanding of SEC regulatory framework and RIA compliance requirements.
· Experience with Salesforce CRM, pipeline management, reporting, and dashboards.
· Proven ability to manage complex projects, analyze data, and present clear insights to leadership.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to influence growth at all levels
· Detail-oriented with the ability to balance day-to-day execution and long-term planning.

- Self-starter, willing to take initiative, works well under pressure, flexible and cooperative able to thrive in a fast paced, team environment
- Proven ability to present to large and small groups effectively
- Strong ability to build partnerships, launch new business channels, and collaborate on advisor recruiting campaigns.
- Analytical and outcome-driven, comfortable making data-informed decisions.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
· Minimum of 7 years of experience in leadership, ideally within an RIA, wealth management, or professional financial services firm.
· Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred.
· Experience leading both strategic and tactical initiatives across channels.
· Excellent writing and presentation skills; confident communicator with C-suite and client audiences.

Pay: $200,000.00 - $275,000.00 per year
