Salary Range: $80,000–$100,000 annually, depending on experience
About the Role
SCS is a fast-growing subcontractor specializing in cabinets, countertops, and flooring for multifamily construction across six states. With cabinet and quartz divisions fully scaled, we are now investing in our flooring division—and we’re looking for an experienced operator to lead the charge.
As Director of Flooring, you’ll take ownership of all office-side functions for flooring: estimating, system development, process improvement, and project execution oversight. You’ll work directly with sales, project management, and executive leadership to streamline operations and drive profitability in flooring. The field install team and vendor network are already in place—you’ll be responsible for making the back-end systems perform at scale.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead estimating and takeoff operations for all flooring scopes (LVP, carpet, tile, etc.)
- Build standardized bid templates, cost controls, and scalable processes
- Collaborate with sales, estimating, and project management to deliver accurate bids and smooth handoffs
- Establish install standards, QA documentation, and internal workflows
- Own all operational performance metrics for flooring division at the office level
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of experience in flooring, with strong estimating and process background
- Experience with commercial or multifamily flooring strongly preferred
- Proficient in takeoffs using Bluebeam, PlanSwift, or similar tools
- Systems thinker—skilled at developing and implementing scalable workflows
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across departments
