Roustabout Hand

Overview
The Roustabout plays a vital role in the oil and gas industry, providing essential support on construction sites and drilling operations. This position involves a variety of tasks that require physical stamina, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment. As a Roustabout, you will be responsible for maintaining equipment, assisting with pipeline installation, and ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times.

Duties
- Assist crew foreman in the assembly and disassembly of oilfield equipment, instruments and other equipment on construction sites.
- Operate heavy equipment such as backhoe and skid loader as needed for various tasks.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Support oil & gas operations by digging trenches and repairing equipment
- Follow OSHA regulations to maintain a safe working environment for all personnel.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
- Conduct inspections of equipment and work areas to identify potential hazards or issues.

Skills
-Pay is DOE

-Clean MVR is required

-Experience preferred but not a must

-Must be able to work 12 hour days

-Must be able to work weekends frequently

-Must be able to lift 50 pounds

-Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Experience in heavy equipment operation, including dirt equipment
- Familiarity with pipe threading and fitting installation
- Ability to dig trenches and perform physical labor as required by the job.
- Understanding of OSHA safety standards and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively on construction sites.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 50 – 75 per week
