What are the responsibilities and job description for the Machinist/Programmer position at SCS Gearbox, Inc.?
We are a highly specialized manufacturing company seeking experienced machinists for a CNC Lathes in Bellevue OH, we are family owned and operated "small" business.
Pay: Dependent on Skills & Experience will be discussed in the interview.
Shift: 4-10s Friday, Hours can extend to 10- or 12-hour days. NO WEEKENDS
Skills:
- Read Blueprints
- Good Math Skills
- Good Measuring Skills
- Good Communication
- Problem solving skills
- Able to understand G & M codes and make programming edits
- Knowledge of touching off tools and adjusting offsets
- Knowledge of carbide inserts, cutters, & various geometries
- Willing to operate other machinery (manuals, saw, press) in addition to CNCs
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Fanuc control as well as working with high strength and super alloys
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
