Your Responsibilities Will Include:

As a Professional Mover, you will be integral to ensuring our clients' belongings are handled with the utmost care and professionalism. Your key duties will involve:

• Protecting Valuables: Carefully packing, wrapping, and protecting furniture and other property to prevent damage during transit.
• Efficient Loading & Unloading: Safely loading and unloading trucks, ensuring items are secured and transported efficiently.
• Furniture Expertise: Disassembling and reassembling furniture as required, demonstrating attention to detail and precision.
• Customer Service: Interacting professionally and courteously with clients, representing Scruffy City Movers with integrity.
• Team Collaboration: Working effectively as part of a team to complete jobs efficiently and to the highest standards.

Compensation & Perks: More Than Just a Paycheck

We believe in rewarding hard work and professionalism. Our compensation model is designed to be competitive and transparent, offering the potential to earn significantly above base pay through performance and tips.

Earn between $16-$17 per hour for entry-level movers before tips, often exceeding $20 per hour with tips.

Here's the breakdown: base pay professionalism bonus hourly sign-on bonus. And then tips.

• Base Pay: Starting base pay ranges from $13-$14 per hour, depending on your initial "Certification" (onboarding training) performance.
• Professionalism Bonus ($1.50/hour): Earned through punctuality, professional dress, and maintaining professional conduct on a weekly basis.
• Hourly Sign-On Bonus ($1.50/hour): A temporary increase in your hourly pay designed to offset initial hour inconsistencies. This bonus is currently active and has an expiration date. Talk to our recruiting time to learn about the expiration date. Beyond that date, opportunities for base rate increases via promotions will be available. It is possible to earn promotions before this date in order to avoid a drop. Promotions do not stack with the sign-on bonus.
• Tips: $3/hour is our conservative estimate. Our movers consistently earn substantial tips, sometimes $10 per hour.

• B) In-Person Interview & Certification: Successful candidates from the phone interview will be invited for an in-person interview. If you pass, we will immediately proceed with the Certification process.
