Duties
- Perform detailed cleaning tasks using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to remove debris, soot, mold, water, and contaminants from affected areas.
- Assist with fire and water damage restoration processes, including drying, cleaning, and sanitizing affected surfaces and structures.
- Support mold remediation and asbestos abatement efforts by following safety protocols and industry standards.
- Use construction knowledge to assist with demolition, debris removal, and site preparation for restoration projects.
- Operate carpet cleaning machines and other specialized cleaning tools to restore flooring to pre-incident condition.
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools, disposing of waste properly, and adhering to safety guidelines throughout each project.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of restoration tasks while following all safety procedures.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in cleaning, restoration, or construction is highly preferred; industry-specific training will be provided if needed.
- Knowledge of fire restoration, water damage mitigation, mold remediation, or asbestos abatement is a plus.
- Comfortable working with hand tools and power tools in various environments.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and safety protocols diligently.
- Strong physical stamina to perform manual labor including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude focused on delivering quality results.
